What's the deal with front bumpers with the big tall hoop bar things sticking up in front? I don't understand their purpose--they seem that they would get in the way. Often on pre-runners.
They can prevent you from a front flip rollover but if that doesn't stop the flip it should hopefully roll you onto your side instead of the roof.

And all this time I thought the prerunner hoop was a place to hang your freshly washed underwear to dry after you soiled them in the rollover.

If the moon was made out of barbecue spare ribs, would you eat it?
Beef or pork ribs? and what kind of sauce? i dont do that nasty mustard based stuff.

Is a snatch strap a better version of the tow strap? In other words do I need both a tow strap and a snatch strap or would just a snatch strap suffice?

Depends on what you need to do. For recovering a stuck vehicle you'd want a snatch strap and not a tow strap. But for towing a snatch strap will continually stretch due to changes in speed between the two vehicles causing heat in the strap, they don't like that.

They both have their own use.

** The Dumb Question Thread **

Driving out of a parking lot onto the road today, it felt like my tires hit the top of the wheel well. They are 285/75r16. The wheel well has the melt mod in back. The strut has a 1/2" spacer. It's kind of embarrassing. Is there a fix out there that doesn't require a larger lift?

The exact thing happened to me. I upgraded to 285s with a 2" body lift. There's still 'rub' on hard left/right turns. I've found that it's not actually the fender, it's the tire rubbing on the actual body of the truck. Since they're bigger, obviously they need more space when they turn. And the wheel-well doesn't have it. So, they rub. I can clearly see the rub on frame.

I've not found a way around it, other than possibly wheel spacers? But hey, I'm a new guy who doesn't really know anything. I'm sure others will have a strong opinion.

I'd love a solution on this. I can't imagine it's good for the truck or the tires!!

Yeah spacers will solve that issue, rn I'm having it with 35's and a 2" spacer, so anything bigger than a 33 will need a titan length axels

I have a 2" SL and a 2" BL with 1.5 spacers and 33's and I get a rub at full right turn. I think mine is rubbing on a loose fender liner though....Need to check it out.

i thought you could run 33's with nothing more than the melt mod
You can, but it's also alignment dependent. I think it also depends on each vehicle and the brand of the. I've never had the frame rub, but I did get the fender rub.

What do you do when waiting for the mail carrier to bring you a package so you can complete a project, only to check the USPS site and get the message that your package has been delayed!?!?!
