Does this look ok? I just wanted to know if it looked like it was out of the way enough.

This is where is routed it. It is zip tied to the frame just to the left. I wanted to leave some slack for future lift.

nice! thanks, I have some aquarium tubing, but i didn't think it would hold up enough. I have the blue stone, just need the clamp. It is the smallest hose clamp that comes in those kits?

i was wondering that as well, do we just use needle nose pliers and pull it off. when i climbed under there to do this mod, this kinda prevented me from doing this, as to me not wanting to screw anything up

I did this last weekend, but I made an adjustment this weekend.
I was able to the get the breather out of the rear diff by unscrewing it. So I originally stuck it in the end of my extension hose and ziptied it up behind the tail light.

but I didnt really like that, it probably was fine, but I couldnt be sure it wasnt being squeezed shut when I snapped the tail light on.

So I did this instead. Its a motocycle fuel filter. and I looped the hose so the filter points down.

So here's my contribution... I completed this mod today in preparation for what is hopefully a summer spent exploring off road here in Colorado. I used my Leatherman to pop off the cap on the stock breather valve. Like the OP suggested, I used 3/16'' fuel line. It was certainly a tight fight to get the fuel line onto the stock valve - let's just say that the liberal use of a lighter and a pair of needle nose pliers got the fuel line onto the valve. I hose clamped it down, too, to be doubly sure it wouldn't go anywhere.

The (next) hardest part was figuring out where to run the hose so that it would flex with the suspension but not touch the muffler. I finally decided to tie it down the the rigid suspension components - I figure it's a fixed, known distance that's guaranteed to articulate with the axel and wheels while also letting me be more sure that the hose wouldn't contact the muffler.

Here's the top end, behind the passenger taillight. I capped the hose with an aquarium air stone. Props to the PetSmart off of University and County Line for just giving me an air stone that was already out of the package. Thank you!
