BL installed!
It's not a huge difference, but it returned it more to its stock height with all of the bumpers.

Finally got fogs for the bumper to fill those holes. Crazy how much of a difference the little things make once you get them in. Also went back and fixed the wiring for the spots that DeltaPhi gave me, bad ground. Got an On-Off-On rocker switch that confused the hell out of me for the fog lights. I got it working kind of the way I wanted. I tapped the illumination fuse with a fuse tap. The goal was to have one on position run off the illumination lights, and the other be a power on whenever I needed. Pretty much got there, but the power on whenever I need it also turns on my amber turn signals...I'll revisit that at another time, the other On switch works as needed, I'll leave the funky one off for the time being.

I dont know how some of you put these in with the bumper on.

Was able to properly polish the lights with the bumper off, not bad for an almost 11 year old X.

Worked with a local guy Chris and finally got the Hefty rear tire carrier rattle problem permanently fixed. Shout out to him. Tire carrier doesnt budge not, previously you could move the tire about an inch towards the rear window. Installing the PRG motor mounts hopefully this weekend. Also. We've decided to keep the X, the wife has never had her "Own" car that shes desired. So we decided she gets her Mini-Cooper that she's always wanted, I am going to drive her Corolla as my daily driver. And the X will turn into a permanent play car. Mods are back on!

It's complete! Autozone had both downstream sensors for a "reasonable" price. Almost ran into an issue with the IMS install. The Torx part of one of the studs broke off, couldn't get it to budge. I was going to save that install for another time, put the intake back on, torquing the bolts down with a husky 3/8 torque, snapped the head off one of the bolts. Cant recommend buying a husky torque wrench.....

Miraculously, that snapped bolt wasn't tight in the intake head, could back it out with my fingers. Spent the next hour with a pair of vice grips getting the torx stud loose, finally came out.

No codes! Everything works! The exhaust is to loud for me, sounds great at startup and idle. But as @iamamused said, drone from 2200-2600rpm is noticeable and acceleration is LOUD. Tolerable for now, the codes are gone and she's running again without issue, but Ill swap out that muffler at some point in time down the road.

I need to admit, my truck wants to be like yours. Keep up the posts and build. I finally decided to go with just 33s on my X this month since I am only 11 months into my warranty but Im going to start collecting parts for a Titan Swap, ARB diffs, 4.56 gears, etc, so when the 33s are done in a few years, Ill go with 35s and toss on everything. Body lift is sitting in the garage with a few boxes of stuff to put on here shortly but I'm still in awe of your build and have your truck in my X screen saver rotation.

Keep up the great build man.

Thanks for the kind words. She's still got a lot left to go. I kept her pretty stock too when going through the warranty. It wasn't until stuff started breaking or needed to be replaced that I started modding. I still need skids/sliders is a good example. But, little by little, maybe not in the most desirable order I like the way it is coming together. Best of luck with your build, and great decision going T-Swap first! Youll save a ton of cash in the long run :rockin:

The ones between the engine and primary cat are the upstream o2 sensors.

Welp, started on the exhaust install. I couldnt even get the heat shield bolts to break off, damn things just rounded off. Cutting around those with tin snips was fun. I used a sawzall on the exhaust underneath, one flange wouldnt budge and the other had bolts broken off. Downstream o2 sensors wouldnt move either. Whoever decided on the freaking latching mechanisms for those plugs needs to be put in prison for torture. Finally, got up to the exhaust manifolds, two bolts came out easy enough, until I forgot to wear my impact gloves and smoked my knuckle on my trimmed fender. After a few beers this was just spitting blood. So I am taking a break for the night to hopefully let this clot up. I dont think I am getting it done this weekend though. If i cant get those downstream sensors out I need to order ones off amazon. They are half the price than getting them locally.

Stay tuned.

Alright, weekly update. Gas mileage is finally back to normal. Took a few days. Thank god. I am not going to attempt to measure it by any means, but performance gains are noticeable over the previous stock setup. Could have been the ECU tune there at the end getting all screwed up. But with the new plugs, IMS, headers and cat back it definitely has more pep around town. Debating picking up a Bullydog to round it all out, but I realllly need to pay down the CC's I just put all this crap on. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance side of the upgrades.

So I finally got around to replacing the wheel spacers yesterday since I broke off one of the studs on a rear 2" spacer. As luck would have it, taking off the spacer also broke an actual wheel stud on the bearing. Joy. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised how easy they are to remove and replace on our vehicles, new one went in without any fuss. I put a little anti-seize on each stud this time around to prevent it in the future on all 4 corners.

Sadly I must report, the X is going into maintenance mode. I might put a resonator on this summer because the wife hates the exhaust noise but that's it. We are putting money aside to get a truck next spring, which we have settled on a Frontier. We originally wanted to get a nicely equipped fullsize truck, but it would leave little room for putting money into the house and saving for starting our family.

We have new and used Pro-4x frontiers in our area from 25k-33k with all the bells and whistles, so its a good middle ground for our needs. Plus I already have the wrench experience. It'll get some modding but I dont think 35's will ever grace that vehicle.

Ha! Yes that was us, we where visiting a buddy in Seattle and went to Pikes also. Thats too funny man. Small world in deed. Well, to keep it interesting, I was born and lived in STL till I was about 15. Move to AZ from Jefferson City, my wife is from Hermann if you've ever heard of that small dump :)
