anything guys? dealership recommends to replace the automatic transmission shifting cable.

 

is it covered under warranty?

 

i asked them and they said no, because i have modified \ lifted truck, although i dont see the connection.

I check on courtesy parts, its around USD 30.

 

Shift cable out of adjustment. Do you have a body lift?

 

no body lift, just suspension lift 2.5 SAW with PRG UCA and Titan LCA, Shackle and AAL at the back

 

shouldn't be denied because of a suspension lift. get it in writing and call corporate.

buy the cable and have it fixed...

 

^ It's worth a shot, but he's not in the states, so the Magnusson-Moss act doesn't apply. But I agree that your suspension lift shouldn't have anything to do with it...

had an argument with the dealer today.

He should me a cable running to the transmission, but it didnt seem cut.

just the rubber covering was torn. i dont know too many problems with the X, love, hate relationship.

The X does, 1, 2, D, N and R, just not P, so how could the cable be at fault?

 

maybe it stretched and cant pull the last little bit to get park

 

ok, the cable is being replaced, but have to pay for it. dealership not honoring warranty on account of modified suspension.

 

Dude that sucks, but at least it's getting fixed. I would contact Nissan and go up the chain to see if they will pay you back on something that they have to prove that the modification caused the break.
