I probably used that same bolt but won't rip my stuff apart to confirm. Sorry. Use your dmm and set to resistance ohms and touch that bolt head to another ground or unpainted structure point. If you get a reading less than one ohm, you're good to use the bolt.

The bolt I used may have been lower near where your left foot hangs out. Was a 10 or 12 mm bolt head not doing any particular function.

That's a good one too XTour09. I used that one for my heated seats.

 

Finished the mod earlier today. I used the ground Billy suggested. It's exposed...no plastic to remove. Good to know about one on the passenger side.

Billy, where'd you pick up your heated seats?

 

When I ran my lights I drilled holes in the support bars up under the steering wheel. as far left as I could for the relay to bolt in place and a second for my grounding location. worked out good and is pretty easy to get to. then again I was working on that side so might be a little out of the way for some of you.

 

I wasn't too sure about the worth when I was trying to feed the wires on the passenger side. :cussing: Driver side went easy. Guess I'm an expert now! :iconbiggrin:

Couldn't have done it without one of my most exotic tools...a bent coat hanger.
