Has anyone recently tried contacting Brennan Becker of driven desire recently? I have the funds to pursue this engine swap but can't seem to contact him. I've messaged him on IG, emailed and texted to no avail. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Brennan is one man show and has (always is) been quite busy. Driven Desire is part time behind his other full time business which takes most of his attention first.

I’m only providing some FYI, which you may already have, to give perspective.
Like other passionate enthusiasts in our X world he’s got many irons in the fire.

Keep trying. He’ll get back to ya.

Be patient and hang in. Cause it’s so worth it. Especially with the 6mt.

@Tony2Times - any advice on how to get the OP in touch with Brennan?

Sorry to ask ya, but it seems yours is being done right now? That means he’s actively doing swaps still?

Brennan is a solid guy. He’s a one man show in HIGH demand and does VERY meticulous work. Sometimes his dedication to detail can add unforeseen delays (double edged sword).

It’s hard to explain without meeting him in person how true my words are. His shop is effing amazing and to see his level of work is almost mind blowing. If I had the $$$ I’d have a whole pile of trucks waiting to be built by him.

Not trying to “fan-boy”, just a bit more info to help ease your frustration. But I tell ya, once it’s done you’ll get it. Just wish he had 7 of himself working there….. He’d be King of the World, lol.

What Mar10 said.

He's still doing them. I pick mine up on Friday.

He is quite busy, and this is a side hustle for him.

Patience is the key here. Solid dude, and he will respond, but at his pace/schedule, not yours. If you can't handle that when he's got your rig, I'd advise against. If you want a great VK swap, consider it a lesson in patience. It's done when it's done right, not right now.

I engaged him in Feb. '22, deposit in March so he could start collecting donor engine/trans//parts, dropped it off in August (I'm from WA) when my work allowed. Got the video of it starting and new, blue dash lights yesterday. I fly out Friday for Cincinnati.
