thanks! Yea the black rocker panel paint on the bottom of my car is almost bare metal from throwin rocks so much. Since I have 1.5" spacers i was gettin crap all in my windows and I didn't like getting splashes of dirt from the tiniest puddles after washin my car haha. But they look way better than stock

These things look sick! I removed the stock rear mud flaps after they were barely hanging on. Been looking for a legit long term replacement because they are required by law in Oregon. Definitely don't want to get pulled over and ticketed for mud flaps

Thanks for posting this, I'll be getting a pair asap.

By the way, nice touch on your rear step and the black gas flap.

As an alternative to the rally I used "Powerflow-5526-Trailer-Rubber-Splashguard" for $20 a pair on Amazon. They are rectangular and I simply traced my factory splash guards onto them off setting the guard slightly to get the flap to stick out a bit farther and cut them out with heavy scissors. I punched holes to match the factory pattern and they installed nicely.

On the Rally armor website... Are these the ones listed for $15.99 or $27.99? I don't want to get the wrong ones and since you modded them I can't tell the difference. Ive been wanting to do soft flaps for a while and haven't bitten the bullet but now since I've seen something that definitely works and looks great its time haha. Thanks

About to order a set of four this week. Gotta go with the black though, I'm not cool enough for the flashy red.

Here's what I dug up on mud flap laws in Oregon
FENDERS
6) Does my vehicle need mud flaps/mud guards?

Answer: Non commercial vehicles (under 8,000 lbs.) need fenders or mud guards (mud flaps) within 27 inches of the pavement behind the tire. Commercial vehicles need fenders or mudguards (mud flaps) within 10 inches behind all wheels. (ORS 815.180)

Fenders and mud guards (mud flaps) must cover the entire tread width of the tire(s). (ORS 815.180)

7) How far can a vehicle sit off the ground before mud flaps are required?

Answer: For a vehicle that is less than 8,000 lbs the law states: "...fenders or mudguards must extend in full width from a point on the wheels that is above and forward of the center of the tire over a point at the rear of the wheel that is not more than 27 inches above the surface of the highway." ORS 815-180 (2) (c) The issue is not how far the truck can sit off the ground so much as making sure that fenders or mud flaps are in place not more than 27 inches from the surface of the highway.

More than one person has called me out for not having mud flaps since moving to Oregon. Thats a ticket I'd be ashamed of, especially considering a set of four is probably about the cost of the ticket.
