The jury is still out, I took them off because I have a trip planned soon and wanted to save time. I haven't really gotten it on the road much yet because I haven't gotten it aligned. For the little I did drive it, it felt like it wanted to dive in corners.

 

Hey good looking rig! I know I have a Frontier, and not an X but just wanted to say looks good so far. I'm located in Hampton Roads/Richmond area. You have a group you trip with? I use to have a jeep prior to my truck but never took it offroad so don't really know whats around here.

I looked at the prg arms but was slightly hesitant as I go snowboarding and didn't want to blow out the hiems from road salt or anything.

 

Thanks man! I haven't had a chance to go wheeling with any groups out here yet. I'm not too worried about the joints going bad. If I get them on a salted road I'll just try to clean them up. They don't salt the roads down here much.

Alignment completed finally! Drives much better. Still getting vibrations in the rear around 65mph. Gonna give PRG a call and order some shims to smooth it out hopefully.

White Knuckle sliders shipped this afternoon, due to arrive Monday. Got them bare metal, gonna go with red paint, same color as my UCA"s. Should get installed by the following weekend. :bounce:

My sliders arrived today, they are better than I expected, glad I went with White Knuckle. Quick turnaround and military discount! Now I just gotta sweet talk my neighbor into taking them to work in the morning to paint them. ccasion5:

 

can't wait to see those painted... i'll hold judgment untill they are on the truck.

 

They are getting the same color as the UCA's. I'm anticipating them getting pretty scratched up because it is only paint but I've got a hookup at a body shop. Most everyone is running with black so I wanted to be different.

 

Those red White Knuckles will look awesome on the X.......

 

Man that's a BOLD color! Looks good! I like that they have a center support bolt-on to the frame!

 

The X got muddy.... Loving the sliders so far, glad I went with the red powdercoat.

Diff breather mod complete

Finally got around to doing the rear diff breather. Should have been done a long time ago... Here's a few pics...

Went overboard on the filter but oh well...

its funny how the duratracks to that. Mine are mostly clean too, but the wheels are a mess.

 

I know, I almost thought about color matching the wheels so they are that color. It won't go with all the red though.
