MB Wheels TKO Have Arrived!

Discount Tire Direct has been great to deal with so far. My new MB Wheels TKO have arrived and they look awesome. Two issues though. First, I had ordered a set of black lug nuts from them and the kit arrived with only 20, not the 24 that we need. I sent them an email and they have apologized and offered to ship me the missing lug nuts. I am leaving for a 2 week vacation and wanted these wheels on the X ASAP so I had the local shop throw on 4 chrome lug nuts for the time being. I'll swap the remaining black ones on later.

Secondly, I go to pick up the X today and they tell me the Chaos center caps I had ordered don't fit. Sure enough, they are too big so the two small retaining bolts don't even come close to lining up with the wheel. I decided to test fit the stock TKO center caps and while the bolts line up, the cap itself does not sit flush with the wheel. They actually stick out away from the wheel surface by about a 1/4 inch. I actually prefer the way the wheels look without the center caps so I will leave it off for the moment. I have sent another email to Discount Tire and will see how they handle the issue with the Chaos caps.

Enough talk, now on to the pics!

One thing to note, the shop was mildly concerned by the lack of hub centering rings so they are going to call their supplier and see if there is one available that will fit this wheel. For the record, the wheel's hub bore diameter is 71.5mm.

I would lose the mud flaps but with all the highway driving and towing that I do it just doesn't make sense. New summer tires will come as soon as I run the Rugged Fails into the ground (which shouldn't take long).

Update on Discount Tire, they are shipping out new lug nuts and the correct Chaos 6 center caps for free. Looks like the first set of caps they sent were for a 6-135 bolt circle application. Overall, top notch customer service and I would definitely buy from them again.

I've purchased the 16" TKO's from Discount Tire and I also want the Chaos caps. I've called the store that I've been dealing with, in Puyallup, WA, and I'm just waiting to hear back from the manufacturer if the Chaos caps will fit on my TKO's. The people in the store told me they won't fit, that they're designed for the specific wheel. I explained to them that I've seen this post. What do I need to do in order to get those caps?

I've been wanting those wheels for a while. They llok great. To me they are a cheaper version of the Rockstars :) They will look sweet with my Toyo Muds, can't wait.
Looking good guys

How did you make out with the hub centric ring?
1st i put a 2" SL (front spacers and 2" shackles) w/ adjustable cambers, alignment all was well with stock wheels (2 months ago:icon_smile:)

I just Put 16' mb tko's with Dura grapplers 285 75 16's, And i'm getting a vibration:cussing: at hwy speeds Over 40 mph.

Went to my local Good year for a computerized alignment-- Still vibrations:cussing:

Went back to good year they Road forced balanced, 3 of the 4 came back balanced improperly. The 4th was balanced correct but with more weight than usual, evidently This wheel tire combo "has a smart match system."

Still vibrations:cussing: Not as Bad as before now vibrations kick in around 70mph. (I Know, I know. but i usually set the cruise control @ 80)

contacted "DCT" They are going to check on the hub centric ring for me on monday, Looking at a 71.5mm hub bore on the wheel to fit a 66.1mm on the truck.
BTW 2012 pro-4x
