Looking forward to the build. Idk but the 2010-2011's r growing on me with their frontends.

 

got some electrical work done today and stuff, going to do something a little different with fog, rooflight, and locker bypass to allow a manual mode and keep all stock modes as well. next week

 

I picked my Night Armor Pro-4X MT on 10/6 after selling my 05 OR and so far I have done nothing with it - had planned to install the Shrockwork Sliders over the Xmas break then only found out today that I am missing half the mounting hardware, so I will have to order a fresh set after Xmas.

Probably change the tires in the new year as well if there any deals out there.

 

I really like you truck....but I also really think you should titan swap it . Keep up the good work!

been really thinking about throwing the 2" lift out the window and doing a full TS lately just dont know 100%. Since Im more for expedition travel than rock crawling, I wish I could see one to compare it to a prg lift. I needa get my ass to a run that has a TS and PRG to compare.

 

Well the titan swap is a Prg lift. Lol. But I know what you mean. imho the extra width and articulation plus the added road manners make the titan swap a no brainer for expo style travel. Im a dumba** for not doing it earlier. I would say if you are leaning towards it just save up and knock it out in one shot...you already have the rear diff for it.

Pics coming soon of all the goodies laying in the garage as soon as the front bumper gets here. It will be shipped out tonight or tomorrow morning I got confirmation of the palate. This is gonna be an exciting week

suspension will get here friday and the radflos on monday so that will be done early next week.

things are finally starting to take form

 

Got the front bumper installed last night man that sucker was a pita. The brackets weren't wide enough had to loosen em and pry it in then have 2 people force it in to slide bolts and then lift tighten lift tighten.

I think it may be a little bit low in the front but best I can do for now.

Winch works great, need to install the grill and hook up the hids still.

looking good!! i had the same problem with the brackets not being far enough apart. i used a big clamp my dad has thats able to be used as a spreader. and i cranked the hell out of it. definitely a pain in the ass. but it was so worth it!!

Is there supposed to be a decent gap from the bottom of the headlights to the bumper?

Also, is the tip of one of the side wings suppsed to go past the outside of the fender? From pics other peoples look fluish.

I have a good size gap between my bumper and headlights. And the wings do stick past my fenders a little. I can get a pic if you want

 

gotcha. I just need to borrow a dremel from my friend to cut a little bit of the grill to mount it. and figure out the pins on the toyota switch to finish wiring the lights.

 

as for the pins, load is the middle and ground is the top i do believe and power is the bottom. i will check mine tomorrow, but i know for certain that the load is the middle pin.

 

I have so far, the middle is red, top is black, and the actual switch wire is bottom.

Where do I tape the power for the switch from? just to power the switch not lights?

 

Finally got the lights running just have to put in the grill.

Ill have to cut it, no way around it with a winch and the 2009+ grill.

 

Got my suspension in but no spanner wrench

 

Look what arrived today!

Also, finished installing the grill (had to trim it) and tied everything up and cleaned up the wiring. Pics to come in the morning when its not so dark.


BTW: I got no spanner wrench with my coilovers!
