How do the TPx readings relate to the tires? e.g. TP1 front left, TP2 front right, etc.

Thanks
My notes indicate that TP1 is Front Left, TP2 is Front Right, TP3 Rear Right, and TP4 is Rear Left. However, I would imagine that rotating the tires would throw that all off. I know that when testing out the tire pressure readings for Toyota vehicles people would figure out which number corresponded to which tire (by airing a tire up/down and seeing which reading changed) and would then rename the XGauge to something like RRT for Rear Right Tire. Whenever they rotated tires though they'd have to update the XGaug name though.

Anyone here use this in models under 2009? Maestro's website says 2009 and newer supports it, but doesn't specify if 2007 does...
With my emails back & forth with Scangauge, my understanding is that they have not had any luck with pre-2009 xterras. I can try it on a friend's truck, but I haven't had time...

I wonder if it has to do with the 2009 upgrades and such, how the harnesses aren't compatible.

I guess I'll have to wait for the titan-swap (engine and suspension), when I drop a 2009 or newer 3-spline vk56 and transmission into it before I can monitor engine data.

I just ordered an Alpine iLX-207 touchscreen, hopefully it wasn't a bad decision lol

I have a 2007 6 speed and tried maestro, it was a no go. I also swapped in a Pathfinder wheel from 2012 or so, that didn't program well to maestro RR either. I ended up with the idata SW just for the steering wheel controls, that worked great.

I have a 2012 MT with a Maestro with a Kenwood head unit and it works great. It will list exact trouble codes and I have access to MPH, RPM, Avg. Fuel Economy, Instant Fuel Economy, Timing Advance, Mass air flow, intake air temp, exhaust gas temp, fuel level, dist to empty, engine load, air fuel ratio, acceleration, batt voltage, engine coolant temp, and throttle plate position.

Nice looks great!

I'd really like to find out if maestro just works better with the newer models in general or what...... I too am swapping in a pathy wheel and controls. But I'm a 2012 as well. Currently without SW controls. Seems like the 09 and earlier models aren't responding well with maestro. But that's a lot of extra $ for me to "play with" vs an access unit. Hmmmm decisions. I guess somebody has got to figure it out. May try it for gits and shiggles

Maverick: is there any way I could PM you about this? I'm currently titan swapped and in the process of VK swapping in a 09 flex fuel motor and looking at this EXACT same setup as you mentioned. I'm thinking of purchasing the Alpine ILX-207 along with the Idatalink module as well as the Alpine KAC-001 for offroad accessories. Any advice is greatly appreciated! My email address is Monsta720@gmail.com if the message doesnt go thru.

Sorry for my late reply, sure shoot me a text- I would have gotten back sooner but I went through both a move, a job change and recently my mother had a fall breaking her femur, so been hellishly busy. I do like the ilx-207 for sure, especially with the new apple iphone upgrade.

I didn't want to start a new thread so I will ask here about the maestro. I am planning my audio build for the Xterra I am picking up this weekend. I already have a Kenwood DDX 9703S and the Idatalink Maestro RR that I want to put in.

My question is for you guys that have put the maestro in, what did you need to keep the backup camera and run another USB port. I see the Axxess parts to keep those, but I am not sure the Axxess part to keep the camera will work with the Maestro. I plan to run a usb port in the empty blank where Hill descent control would be on an automatic so I need something that would work with the Maestro.

Any help would be appreciated as I am not a big fan of the Rockford system.

I just finished installing a Maestro with a Kenwood DMX905S in my 2010 AT and my Gauges display/info is different and I get much less info. I get 2 pages with the same info on each (only difference is the RPM gauge uses a shaded bar for actual RPM on P1 and it's a needle on P2, why??). The info I get is MPH, RPM, Intake temperature, Fuel level as a %, and Load as a %. Not sure yet what Load % is. Disappointing. I attached pic of page 1.
Updating the firmware and installation was fairly easy - I had no problems, just would have been nice if idatalink listed what info they provided for each vehicle, I couldn't find any.

I used the axxess ax-nis24swc-6v to retain the backup camera along with the maestro unit.

For the usb, I found that the usb plug from the factory is just a mini usb plug, so I got an adapter to change it to a USB A male to go to the new HU.

Adding this for non-'15 owners.

The 2013 needed an adapter to retain the stock USB connector in the center console. I used NNUSB02B to activate it.
