Well there has been some developments.
I noticed that at the Beginning of the Month, the Fuel Sending Unit dropped in price ALOT! about $30.00... I think this might be an indication that Nissan will be doing a RECALL on this part. Now what about all you guys who have replaced this already at your own cost? You need to go to the dealer, and have then make copies of your receipts, they will send them to Nissan Consumer affairs, and they SHOULD reimburse you for the parts. This is SPECULATION, none of this is concrete yet, but I wanted you guys to be the first in the know. As soon as I see anything from Nissan, I will let you guys know!

Glad to hear this! I just ordered the parts to replace the fuel sending unit myself. Couldnt wait much longer....

I just called my local dealership in Toronto, and they have not heard of any recalls yet for the sending unit. Im taking in my truck to have some other recall work done for the airbag sensor.. i will try to talk to them about the FSU.
