Who has used this setup for their CBs? I acquired my buddy's dad's 20 year old top of the line 38 channel CB & looking at the firefly 4ft or the stik at 5ft.
Is there any difference between the two? Don't mean to sound dumb but I've never dealt with this before.

Yes, there is a one foot difference.

Joking aside, the different lengths are to help with different mounting heights. You want at least some of the antenna sticking up above the roofline of your truck. The more the better. You'll get better reception that way. So figure out what that will take and purchase accordingly.
