Looks about like all the other Chinese halogen projector sets out there. These cheap sets are usually very poor quality and not readily adjustable. Even with upgrades to HID bulbs, the light scatter is pretty terrible.

Save your money, buy a retrofit kit.

I would avoid any of these cheap headlight units myself having bought a pair in the past. If the cheap feeling won't get you the massive condensation in a couple weeks will. If you want a good set that will last look into the offerings from Nisstec.

Ditto on the Nisstec units. Other than a mix up on the wiring for one plug, the Nisstec units are solid. Dropped right in and are bright.

Here is what I posted on the Nisstec FB page yesterday about their lights:

Follow up on the install. I got to try the lights out in Death Valley a couple weeks ago. Much, much brighter than stock on low beam and I was amazed at the reach when on high beam. I played back and forth between these on high and the 20" Rigid light I have mounted on the bumper. The Rigid is aimed at the stock level and angle. It is the dual white/yellow bar, so not as bright as a 20" bar with two full rows of white LEDS, but still quite bright. I was surprised to see these HID headlights looked to be nearly on par with the Rigid. I base that on throw onto the reflectors along the valley straight-aways of Hwy 190 and Hwy 136 between Beatty Junction and Lone Pine. A couple times in the passes I found myself dimming the high beams only to realize it was reflections from markers a couple corners up, not an on-coming car.

These things are bright!! An Nisstec has been great with follow up and customer service when I have needed it. I have a few other odds and ends I have picked up from them the last couple years.

Yup, have them. Hate them. I never got the condensation problem, they just aren't very bright, and they are not very resilient. I bought them because they were so inexpensive, and thought what they hey! And I was reminded again, that you get what you pay for. Do one of the HID retrofits that are on here.....save your money, you will be disappointed.

As opposed to what everyone on here so far has said about quality, I disagree. I ran these lights for YEARS and had no issues with condensation. The outer layer of the plastic on the face of the light DID delaminate after about 2 years, but it didn't affect the light in any way. It was like peeling skin after a sunburn.

people have had issues with the 3 DRL leds burning out, but I didn't have that issue either.

they are cheap. They look cheap. But if you wire up HIDS into them, they put out a MUCH better beam than the stock housings with halogen or HIDS (please don't put HIDS in a stock housing with retrofitting projectors).

Are they as good as an HID projector retrofitted into the stock housings like nisstec sells? no. But they are about 1/3rd the price.

The best thing you can do is just buy the projectors and retrofit them yourself. any idiot can do it. Seriously. I have less than $100 in my projector setup.

I've been curious about picking up a set of these and doing the HID projector retrofit. My OEM headlights are hazy and I have restored them twice already, so I'm considering getting new housing anyway...just not crazy about the design. They look so cheap...
