First I gotta say, that cameraman should be shot in the face with a pelletgun. He was more than far enough away to be safe, but even if he wasn't, it's his duty to get the shot no matter what. He let the lens down and should pay for it.

Ok, now that the cameraman is gone, we can talk about the truck. I was very surprised that it flipped over, it seemed to go over so easily, it just went. I guess it puts it into perspective how easily you can get into hot water if you don't know what you're doing.

That truck then became the Phoenix, owned by Allan (Cyclemut) on XOC. He chopped the roof off and made a rollcage.

The guy driving always did take some weird and wonderful lines, there is another video from the same trip where he's driving up / down lions back and totally away from the tire lines which are clearly visible.

I am in no way a 4 wheeling expert, but i have quite a few hours behind the wheel. Seems to me a little less gas pedal (evident by the squealing tires) and a little more finesse would have accomplished the climb without the rollover effect. Still a way cool video! Kudos to the driver for having to go through it!

Looks like the brakes is what got him into the hard spot. When it started to tip. I'd have gotten on the gas, It may have got it going somewhere other than over. What would you have to loose at that point. But, it did spill a lot easier than I would have thought. MC

Great video. Im not sure but it looked to me like the guy driving started to fall out the window when it rolled over. Anyone know if the guy is okay.
Ah, a fellow New Jerseyan driving that X. He now drives a Jeep.

I saw that in the list yesterday. That's why I never touch another rigs jack. The dude wasn't even driving, just a hanger on. Love how he justifies it with like your truck has enough damage.

Was the original owner Jorge? I've heard about this story before, and I've seen the pics of the modded truck with the roll cage. I think it was recently up on Ebay, within the last year.
