Anyone know if the September 2006 Edition, Publication # SM7E-1N50U0, Nissan Xterra Model N50 Series is good for the 2008 models? I believe this service manual is for 2007. What have they changed since then?

Can someone verify that you can download, instead of just view, all of the files desired with the 24 hour subscription. The website isn't specific on downloading.

you use to be able to, but I have not done it in a couple years. It's a manual process where you need to open each section and then save it.

I paid for the 1 day subscription and was able to download all of the files I wanted. We've got a number of Nissans in the family and the full service manuals are better than the Haynes Manuals. The access was for 24 hours from the time I paid the fee, actually a bit over 24 hours but I'm not sure exactly for how long.

It has never been resolved whether it was legit to freely post the PDFs. There are sites around from which they can be downloaded, but it was never established if they were above board (Nissan endorsed) or not. Until that gets resolved I'd suggest seeking approval from the admins here before posting Nissan Copyrighted PDFs ... but maybe that's just me.

That being said, I'm not sure if anyone actively sought out the info or not ... perhaps at the risk of the download site(s) going away.

Please do not post the FSM. There is a post on here that has a link to another site that has it posted. This keeps us out of any copywrite issues with Nissan.
