The same cable lock that holds my High Lift to the Yak rack, also wraps around the Factory Rack. Not impossible to cut with the right tool, but better than nothing I guess.

Got mine on Ebay under $200 shipped.

I have a MEGA warrior that I may be willing to part with. Any interest in that? I should say that I'm looking to switch to the regular size load warrior because the MEGA just doesn't quite fit that great on top of the newX.

Two locks is the way to go. They don't want to have to look obvious carrying a set of bolt cutters. They steal because they are too lazy to work. My idea is to make it too hard, and make it so that it is worthless to them if they do get it. And, as hard as it may seem to do, never buy anything on a deal that you even suspect was ever stolen. If they bought it, they more than likely have a receipt and directions that go with it and all the accessories. Man do I hate to hear that someone got ripped off!

By the way, a Bulldog talking alarm from wal mart $50 is unbeatable as far as protection of stuff on the outside. You even touch my X and it goes off with the warning "You are too close to the vehicle, please step away!!"
After that, they figure people are looking. I have it installed inside driver side, red LED it in speaker grille front dash driver side and horn is out under the area the air box is. Can't cut any wires without setting it off. Has a backup battery but that's a whole new box of worms.

In the Marines, they say leaving something unlocked is the birth of a thief.
Lock your stuff, you don't know where you will be with your X and criminals shop where the good stuff is likely to be. The good neighborhoods!

Well, it's not where I live, but where I park when at work. 40 miles from home. But Crack will make anyone steal anything they can carry to a pawn shop. In any neighborhood. The power of crack!
