It's crap :p
I had one. When it connects to your phone it's great and works as expected. But connection is the issue. Sometimes it connects within a few seconds of starting up. Sometimes it takes a minute. Sometimes I would drive and get to my destination before it ever connected. It's incredibly inconsistent which drove me insane so I pitched it.

Initially, I was looking at those wireless Android Auto dongles as well, but have heard that they are extremely inconsistent like BRATCAT mentioned above. I ended up just switching out my headunit to an Atoto S8 Standard Gen 2, which supports both wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. I've been running it for a little over a month now and it's been working well so far. For a majority of the time, it connects to my Google Pixel 6 Pro within a few seconds, and in very rare occasions may take a little longer. Here's a link to the product: Atoto S8 Standard Gen 2.

BayAreaX, so yours has a 7" screen, not the 10", correct? Do you have a photo of what it looks like in the dash?
Thanks!

@Maxim'sDIYGarage here's some pictures of the head unit in the dash. Apologies for the subpar quality, but one thing I want to point out for the 7" model is that it is sort of recessed into the dash bezel, so it is a little awkward when trying to press some of the buttons. On my old Kenwood head unit shown in the first picture, the bottom row of buttons protruded out a little, so it was definitely easier to access.

Here's a picture I found from a fellow member on Xterra Crew on Facebook of the 10" model if you were interested in that.
