Welcome to the club.

You don't have to do a BL or SL to get bigger tires on there. You can go to a 33" tire without any of that. There is only one BL available right now and that is in the version of a 3". One guy here runs that so you can ask how much was involved in it. His name is Boondock or something like that. You will not void your warranty by putting on bigger tires. There is a topic someplace here that I posted called But will it void my warranty?

Here's the post I was talking about.

Here is the link for the body lift article: http://thenewx.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=640&highlight=body+lift I was just looking through it myself, seems to be a lot of effort for that lift compared to a suspension lift. In the 'How To's' you will also find a great write-up on making bigger tires fit, using a heat gun to mold the wheel well back a bit.

Welcome to the site!

Yeah........after reading that article, i think ill pass on any lifts for the time being. And i do want the larger tires for offroad purposes, not just to look "cool." So would it even matter? Or would the size make that much difference?
Size always matters :geek:

You can definitely upgrade the size of your tires on the X and feel a difference when off roading. I might have missed the version of X you got, but I think the most common tires size upgrades you will see are 285/75 16's in AT. Syndicate found a nice tire size that I ended up following him with in a 255/85 16 MT, which I think looks great and fits nicely.
