My poor X is headed to that big camp ground in the sky. I'm having it parted out by a guy. This is the first time I've done something like this. Is $500 too

too low? .. God knows I can't afford too many more of those. Thank you.

Also, how much is shipping usually on a trans?

*Attached is the paperwork from when the Nissan dealer installed it. The X has 159k miles on it.
I hope it's legible

I'm in the Atlanta area BTW

I'd aim for the $800-1k range for the transmission. You can't really sell it for top dollar like businesses because you provide no warranty.

Otherwise, your best bet is you need to have the person parting out your vehicle keep an inventory list of parts being sold and how much. Unfortunately, you're entrusting the person to part out your vehicle so you're kind of in a sh*tty spot, you'll just have to trust the amount that he/she is keeping on record for you. If you want to keep tabs on this, all sales and communication should go through you and your buyers. The person parting out your vehicle is just responsible for either taking out the parts being sold or watch the buyers take off the part(s) themselves.

My 1st question is if this guy is selling your parts why is he not listing here? This is the largest collection of possible buyers you could find. I've got a friend who is looking for axles(if its a Offroad with locking rear diff). As always the value of anything is based on what someone else is willing to pay and how long you want to wait. Just my 2cents.

So I've severely edited this post as I'm gonna steer him here to list the parts! Cheers all!
