I leave those tpms off when i get my new tire/rims...4x4 shipping them balanced and ready to mount and i dont want my locals BREAKING DOWN ANOTHER TIRE of mine.(Want to leave them in stock tires instead of whole double breakdown process...ETC>ETC>>

The only thing that happens if you leave the sensors out of the new wheels then the light will remain on. Not sure how it works in your truck but when mine goes off it only beeps the one time and that's it. Then the light just stays on.

Pull the idiot light and be done with it.

I am not so sure why but it seems to be different every X. I took mine out of factory rims and put them in MB's but then when I put on factory wheels with no sensors, I got no warning and no light for like 35 miles then just a light, then no light next 75 miles. No sound either time. I can put a decal over the light if it comes on. It would bug me.
