Gently rolled over? there is nothing gentle about rolling over and by the looks of it it slid upside down.
Can't make out if it's 4wd or not since you can't see if it's got the dial and they don't say it. Also most of the tow truck driver's don't care how they get them on to their trucks. Most of them just drag them until they grab and flip by themselves since insurance will either total them out or pay for the paint job anyways.

Sucks is right, but people do dumb things. See it every day. 3500 seems like a VERY good price.... guess he doesn't know about copart or didn't have insurance.
I have never seen a tow truck driver drag a vehicle if they didn't have to. Rolling the vehicle on its wheels first causes the least amount of wear on their truck and makes the job easier.

I too doubt the scraping was caused by the tow driver. Probably slid along after coming to rest on it's top...

Man, if I were you I'd buy it and start selling the parts off it. Mostly to us!
