Lots of gadgets and doo-hickies!

I really like the mirror mounted lights, though the tilt would drive me nuts.

Also, they have a "format" for all build threads on here. Just open up any other ones in this section and you'll see they are separated out into sections with clearly defined sections and basic info.

Thanks! Yeah, a lot of cosmetics for now. More major stuff to come. When in the vehicle, the tilt doesn't bother me. Outside is a little different but I'm getting used to it. lol This came from one that I saw that did round lights. I went with the squared off LED style.

Apologies regarding the thread "format". I'll fix that.

I really like those mirror mounted lights.
Thanks! It wasn't all that hard to mount. Drill, couple bolts and lock-nut washers, a rubber pad between the mount and mirror and run the wiring in, down the door and through the pre-drilled power opening from the factory into the cabin.

Ah... from a Wrangler... that makes sense why they are so square. My brother has the same ones on his jeep. After ~6 years the powder/paint is flaking away in chunks, just fyi.

I've wondered if you could put flush mount light pods into the mirrors themselves... they'd be angled out, which is perfect to seeing around on the trails when used with a bumper mount to light up straight ahead. I just don't know how deep the pods are, or how much space is in a mirror before messing with the glass mounting.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up. These were aftermarket and seemed pretty decent and heavy duty. I thought about putting them on a swivel so that I could adjust them if needed, kinda like a police vehicle. But this seem fine for me. I can manually adjust them by a quick turn of a wrench. :)

The complicating issue for me is that I've upgraded to the big tow mirrors already.
Found your vehicle stats thread. I see what you mean! That might be a little hard to do unless we fabricated a different style of mount.

PS- Love the Nissan Emblem replacement in the front. Where did you find that?

Good start! You taking the steps and mud flaps off before ecxc?
I will probably take the mud flaps off. Idk about the steps just yet until I get those slider ones. I use them quite a bit to get up top. lol. I just signed up for the "easy/normal" trails since I don't have any suspension or drivetrain mods yet. Plus, it is my daily driver, so I don't want to screw it up just yet ;)

A forum member here makes them. I forgot his user name, he has a thread titled who wants a zombie burger. He also makes burgers for the back and for the wheel center caps
I found the thread last evening and PM'd him. I may want the center caps as well :)

Down in MD right now for work, but just removed the mud flaps. Still not sure about the steps yet. I know it's only a total of 12 bolts... Do you recommend taking them off if I'm just going to do the light trails for now?
