I don't normally worry about letting such minor amounts of RTV seal before running. A couple hours and should be good. But regardless. Hope you got your leak stopped.

Update -
No leaks after two commutes.
The throttle response is so nice now.
Between thoroughly cleaning the T-body and adding the intake manifold spacer, It has such a nice throttle response and I notice more pull. Highway cruising is enjoyable.

When I did my daughter's VC's and Coils and plugs it really woke the thing up and spins to redline very nicely now. 180k miles on plugs and coils. At least the plugs were very tired.
