Can anyone suggest a shop in the NoVA area for getting my xoskel lightcage and lights installed? I am considering Iron pig Offroad in Fredericksburg. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Do not say trick trucks.....

Iron Pig has a good reputation but I have never used them. I don't know how they would be as far as lights and what not, I have heard them suggested for suspension and driveline work mostly. If you do use them though, let me know, you'll be 2 minutes from my place.

Also, if you want, I'd be happy to help you install the lights and light cage, you'd just have to wait till just after the holidays as I'm traveling pretty much every weekend from now until the first weekend of January. Atleast it would be free though.

Awesome bro I really appreciate the offer. Let me see how much Iron Pig will set me back and I'll let you know.

Haha great, now I'm going to have people showing up on Sunday mornings for breakfast.

But ya, jmercxterra, no rush, let me know either way, also, if you need anything a I seriously live within a mile of that shop and can stop by if they need to see what going to be installed etc.
I'm now leaning towards having you help me with it. My roommate also has an xterra and it would be cool to all get together and work on this.

But if you could swing by Iron Pig for sh*ts and giggles. I will be running two sets of kc 100's and I have two OTRATTW switches I want in the blanks next to the mirror adjuster. Thanks a bunch for all your help!

Ya no worries, I have a bunch of electrical to finish up, I have to finish wiring my LEDs and put in some rock lights (mostly because I had room for the switch and thought of a cool switch idea haha) We can do an electrical "mod" day and knock out the lights etc.

The only draw back is I do need to wait till after the holidays but just about any weekend right after that first week of January should be fine.

So I am kinda late to this, but newbie X owner from Richmond here. Just stumbled upon this site this morning. I have this problem with my X that I am not sure if others are. For some reason when ever I look at it, it's really clean and shiny. Any one know of anywhere to go outside of Richmond to solve this problem?

Haha, welcome to the site. I've never been but I hear George Washington National Forest, due west of Richmond, has just why you're looking for.

I checked out their site, a ton of trails. I had been planning on going camping so maybe I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Thanks for the heads up!
Can't guarantee anything with my schedule but give me a heads up if you do go out there. Don't want to hit the trails alone. I did that once many years ago I should still be living in the woods of Montana but by Gods grace I made it out. True story.

Had a couple people mention that. Also, came across many a post on this site that state pretty much the same thing. I hope to find someone in the area (X owner or not) to just off road with.

Thanks for the heads up, totally appreciate it.

I'm down in Harrisonburg a couple hours from both DC and Richmond, I know the surrounding areas including GWNF pretty well. Most of the trails down low have been closed but theres still plenty of fun to be had. I do a bunch of kayaking in Richmond and I've climbed a hand full of times around the DC area but never done any four wheeling at either place.

If you guys are down for an out of city experience let me know, I'm down to hit the woods any day of the week.
