Awesome bro I really appreciate the offer. Let me see how much Iron Pig will set me back and I'll let you know.Iron Pig has a good reputation but I have never used them. I don't know how they would be as far as lights and what not, I have heard them suggested for suspension and driveline work mostly. If you do use them though, let me know, you'll be 2 minutes from my place.
Also, if you want, I'd be happy to help you install the lights and light cage, you'd just have to wait till just after the holidays as I'm traveling pretty much every weekend from now until the first weekend of January. Atleast it would be free though.
I'm now leaning towards having you help me with it. My roommate also has an xterra and it would be cool to all get together and work on this.Haha great, now I'm going to have people showing up on Sunday mornings for breakfast.
But ya, jmercxterra, no rush, let me know either way, also, if you need anything a I seriously live within a mile of that shop and can stop by if they need to see what going to be installed etc.
Haha, welcome to the site. I've never been but I hear George Washington National Forest, due west of Richmond, has just why you're looking for.So I am kinda late to this, but newbie X owner from Richmond here. Just stumbled upon this site this morning. I have this problem with my X that I am not sure if others are. For some reason when ever I look at it, it's really clean and shiny. Any one know of anywhere to go outside of Richmond to solve this problem?
Can't guarantee anything with my schedule but give me a heads up if you do go out there. Don't want to hit the trails alone. I did that once many years ago I should still be living in the woods of Montana but by Gods grace I made it out. True story.I checked out their site, a ton of trails. I had been planning on going camping so maybe I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Thanks for the heads up!
Had a couple people mention that. Also, came across many a post on this site that state pretty much the same thing. I hope to find someone in the area (X owner or not) to just off road with. Can't guarantee anything with my schedule but give me a heads up if you do go out there. Don't want to hit the trails alone. I did that once many years ago I should still be living in the woods of Montana but by Gods grace I made it out. True story.
