Weather looks good! I've read online that they combed over the trail pretty significantly during the closure, so it's even more stock-friendly. People have said to still air down for the rocks towards the end. We'll aim to meet at 7-11 Inc. Store 28429, 340 W Reservoir Rd, Woodstock, VA 22664. If you're coming, please PM me and I'll give you my cell number, though I'm not sure if I'll have coverage in that area. I should while near Woodstock, but once we head up in elevation I may be unreachable.

I'll have a GMRS radio, and have a couple handhelds I can bring as well if people need them, but as I have a couple at-risk family members, I'm maintaining social distance protocols. (I can keep a "dirty" bag and sanitize when I get home.)

I have some basic recovery gear, though it shouldn't be needed. I also have an air pump that runs off the truck's battery, and I don't mind loaning it with a cool-down period between vehicles. I'm also bringing a Mavic Mini drone and GWNF allows drone usage, though there may be limited spots where we could stop and actually get footage since I can't fly and drive at the same time.

Had a great time today! The trail was not at all what I expected — good challenge for me as a beginner offroading in rocky terrain. Also great to meet somebody from the forum for the first time (C3NK0) and his buddy that brought along a Jeep for us to chase.

We had a drone, GoPro, camera, and a bunch of cell phones and all got some random footage. We even got to experience a bit of nature with a rattlesnake crossing the trail.

Already looking forward to going back out again.
