Aloha Guys,

I have two questions. On my last SAS I did it on my 1996 4Runner www.toy4runner.com

When we SAS ours, do you still use the stock 4wheel driver switch to turn on 4x4? Only reason i ask is there is no stick to put it in 4x4....

2nd question, I want to be able to use my Lockers in 4 High, only sites talk about adding in another switch to turn on the locker, is there better way of doing it?

I dont want to have other switches all over to do different things.... Also on that note, if i have to use another switch, is there a way i can buy another factory locker switch and just mod it?

It really depends on the setup and parts you're using on your SAS.

I'm swapping in a Ford 9" and a D44. Both of these axles have Detroit Lockers. The 9" will lock automatically and the front will be locked once I lock the hubs. If you SAS your truck via this route, the only thing you'll need in your Xterra is the turn switch which activates the transfer case.
