I'm sorry. I've searched for over an hour, and couldn't find where someone had posted a bunch of torque specs for stuff like suspension, wheel lugs, etc. Whoever made that list a while ago, can you please copy/paste it here so it can easily be found? Thanks.

I'll bet it was Muzikman, he's into the technical aspect of things. Him or Dan. I'm on the hillbilly get er done end! Certain size nuts and bolts get a certain range of torque, I always go with what I have memorized unless I can find a spec. So, if we find that post, lets make it sticky! MC

Someone did post the list of the things we jack with most. I thought it was here, maybe that other site? Anyways good Idea for us to do that when we have time someday, or add a thread for it and add to it as we do it.
TORQUES
Oil Drain Plug.....25 ft-lbs
Transfer case
Fill Plug.....26 ft-lbs
Drain Plug.....26 ft-lbs
Manual Transmission
Fill Plug.....25 ft-lbs
Drain Plug.....25 ft-lbs

MC...That is correct Tq for Oil plug?? Seems a bit snug...

Ok, in the service manual it lists a part, like a particular nut, like this:

78.5 (8.0, 58)

Which one of those numbers is the advised torque spec in lbs?

Nm (kg-m, ft-lbs)
