Have something kind of interesting going on....

I've had LT265/75/16 Open Country AT2s for a couple of months now, and they are great tires, but I'm getting a pretty good "howl" somtimes.

When on the Interstate (60-75mph), the tires are pretty quiet when I'm in a straight line, or going through a left handed turn. HOWEVER, if I go through a right handed turn, and merge into the right lane, I get a pretty good howl while I'm turning.

The tires have been rotate, psi frequently checked, etc...

Any ideas?

How is your toe on the tires? I was having a howl with my cooper atp's and after I added spacers, all i needed was my toe adjusted and my howl went away. It seemed more prominent in my left tire, and once I had the toe adjusted properly it was gone.

I took my rig to big o tires and had them adjust it in 20 minutes for $20.

When the tires were mounted, the alignment checked out fine.
I guess I can take it back in, but I'm sure it'll check the same.
