Have you not heard about Calmini and the current lawsuits they are going through? They have consistently taken peoples hard earned money and never sent products out. There are people who have waited over a year or more for parts they have paid for and end up with nothing.

Who would buy the following rear bumper?
1) double swing gate design, removable gates.... 0, 1 or both gates on, only bumper without the corners (stock plastic corners) -- similar to Coastal look above, minus the corners

2) aluminum version of the above 1)

3) aluminum version of single gate, tire+box (fuel/water/cargo... about 14x14 inch box)

4) steel version of 3)

Aluminum would be lighter but more fragile so not for scraping hard during rock accidents.
The surface powder coating would stick about same, but damage wouldn't "buff out" the same as with steel when you drag on boulders.
Stock bumper is soft at 1/8 thickness, steel aftermarket bumpers are 3/16 width

...I am trying to see interest for our next project. I know I would like removable gate/gates, so that the tire swing can come off completely when needed. Others with daily driver Xterras may appreciate that too, as would those wanting a bumper now, but swing carrier later (future purchased addition).
The double swing means opening 2 gates not 1, besides the stock hatch, so 3 vs 2.
