Yes/No?

The dealer wanted ~$200 to do it, but I only have 25K on my truck. I have heard of using seafoam? Any suggestions?

They wanted to do the same on mine with 35K or so. I told them no.

I don't really like the idea of seafoam, but my brother swears by it.

I figure I could have it done at 50K by a local service station for less.

They want $700 for the 30K service. Ah, I think I will be changing all the fluids myself.

I have used seafoam in my former wrangler for this purpose, seems to work well. Just know that is will smoke like a house fire for about 5 minutes, did that in my neighborhood and it looks like the whole street was on fire.

Seafoam will clean the upper engine , but to clean the throttle body, a can of throttle body cleaner will work. Remove the intake hose, and spray in and around the intake. Wipe clean and replace the intake. Then do the Seafoam.
