More of a traditional "Badge" format for 4WD clubs.

Something I'll do on my own. If there's interest I will happily do a run of 48 shirts and ?? stickers.

Hope I'm not stepping on any toes, just thought it be cool.

Looks good. i was thinking of having this made into a decal:

Something big enough for the bump out probably in black or grey to match the bumper

Looks good. When will you have them ready to order? I'll take one of each.

Kahuna,

I like the idea and the general design. If I may offer a couple of opinions:

- The tire sidewall needs to be wider.
- The sidewall would look better in black.
- The inner areas would then be grey and the lettering changed to white(?).
- Tweak the "X" a bit. I like the off-center asymmetry of it.

I think it's the black/white inner areas that are throwing me...

I like them both, the swiss army knife idea made me laugh because of how all of us use our X's differently

Kahuna,

Love the design. I'm down for a couple of the stickers when/if ready.

Thanks!

The lettering and red "X" are defined by the current logo (got to have some consistency) so that will drive the color decisions.

A good design needs to have the main message be dominant; otherwise your eye doesn't know where to go and then your primary 'read' is diminished. This is more about 'the new X .org" than it is about knobby tires, hence the reason the tire (secondary 'read') is purposefully subdued by color and thickness. It just needs to get the general idea across - not be technically correct.

That's advertising, manipulating the viewer - happens to us all day long whether you realize it or not.

I do appreciate your feedback though.

I think we need something like the decals we have now, with no backing. The letters by themselves look really nice on the tinted windows.
I guess you're more than welcome to produce them! Not to be flippant but this isn't a vote - I am producing these and if anyone wants one that's cool :) if not - that's cool too

XKNUT, I reread your post and I tried incorporating some of your suggestions whilst keeping the impact on the primary read. I do like it better !

Also - here are the preliminary layouts for the t-shirt:

Front:

Back:

And before anybody gets in a huff I am going to seek permission to use these MFG's TMs beforehand.
