I don't have dimensions but these ones worked great for me - not sure if you can get them from Amazon canada. They are one and done however - meaning I replace them whenever I pull the grill. Sometimes they can be used twice if your careful - but definately not as good as OEM: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GWLCR51/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They say there for 8mm hole - if that helps at all?
Perfect, thanks! My front grille is held on by gravity and 1.5 of these retainer clips. The back bumper corner pieces need a few as well.

Here's 30 for $2 and free shipping from china🤷‍♂️

Folks is this noise the dreaded timing chain guide issue?

Nope timing chain noise is a whine similar to a super charger. Yours sounds like typical noisy Xterra fuel injectors to me. Perfectly normal.

So I was parking on an hill the other day. I was in gear with the e-brake engaged but I was still rolling slightly. I hit the brake pedal but it wasn't doing much because I was still creeping. Are the brakes not functional with the engine off?

@SledheadX , I have no idea what’s going on….. Lol!
I went to read a new post and the page opened up in Tapatalk to posts from last year. I thought yours and couple others were new today. Perfect for my “dumb question” thread huh?

Ok folks. I got a good one. Is there ANYONE here that has Titan swapped and is like “AW HELL NO!!!” and now wants to sell off their nearly new TS RadFlo 2.5’s with 650# springs for a discount? I’m not even gonna bother putting this in the want ads That would be equally dumb. But hey..... ya never know.

The brakes work with the power off but you really have to push on them. More than any other vehicle I have had.

Also - sounds like your parking brake needs adjusting. If its properly adjusted it should pretty much lock the wheels even on a good hill.

I have a dumb question - what the [email protected]#$ happened to the price of coolant. I used to be able to get the Valvoline / Xerex at Wally's for $11.00, or the Nissan Blue on flea bay for $20 delivered. Now Wally's is 19 and the blue stuff on flea bay is almost $40!!! I am looking at possibly $100 to change my coolant and thermostat. Robbery!

Surprisingly oil prices have come down - under $20 for a couple good brands of synthetic - mobil 1 at Wally's is under $25

Most/all vehicle brakes are vacuum assist. With no engine running, they take more effort because its literally just your foot leverage pushing the fluid. With that said, the effort varies by vehicle, pads, etc.
Adjusting the E-brake is REALLY easy. BUT, you really should jack the rear up to make sure that you have it tight, but loose enough to fully release. I tightened mine enough to work and pass inspection... but was afraid of going to tight without a way to actually check it. Probably not the best approach for someone that lives some place that isn't completely flat for the 200 surrounding miles.

👋

I found some grease in and around one my CV boots. I'm somewhat sure I pumped too much grease into the zerk that's in my UCAs and then it dropped down.. but I'm not 100% sure. Is there a way to verify that CVs still have enough grease without taking everything apart?

Wipe up the grease and see if it returns. If your CV boots aren't cracked and the band is still tight, I think there's still plenty of grease in there. If you're getting grease from the CVs, it'll be slung everywhere and kind of look like the art you might've made as a kid with a Spirograph.

Anyone know if the OEM trailer wiring harness comes with the relays? I don't see it in the picture or listed anywhere on dealer websites:

That part number is the same as the part number on the Z1 website, which shows the included relays that go behind the kick panel. I think they're just missing the picture. IIRC, when I ordered the harness, it came with the relays, the harness, and the trailer brake harness all together.

Z1 for reference:
