This isn't new, but since I don't go rock crawling and most the off road I do is sand mud, cactus and mesquite brush, I figured the stock skid plate is sufficient. It's NOT!

I was in the brush and started backing up. The engine skid plate tore loose from the back and twisted it into a plow.

So now I am in the market for a good skid plate for the engine. I saw the shrockwork site. I like their skid plate but the bumper looks like way more than I need.

Any suggestions?

If you like the skidplate, but the bumper is more than you need, why don't you just get the skidplate?

That is scary! didn't realize the factory skids were quite that cheap...My next purchase is going to be the sliders and will have to make it a priority to get the bumper...The bumper maybe more that I need but it looks bad a$$!
