I have a gap measurerereerrr or whatever you want to call it, and I want to know how do you change the gap in the plugs? Do you just pry them open or what? Is there some special way to do it? If I gap it too much how do I get it do go back down? Tap it with a small hammer?

I have never messed around with sparkplugs but want to get it right.

Thanks guys.

Oh, im putting in the NGK laser platinum premium plugs... And before you go and say.... "why are you changing your plugs out when you only have 30Kmiles on your truck?" Well dont forget I have a supercharger and recently I got a check engine light. Im just covering all my bases.

I use a small flatblade jewlers screwdriver to open the gap when needed. To close a gap I usually push the electrode against a tabletop gently.

Screw driver. If the gap is too small, pry open with the screw driver. If the gap is too big, tap closed on the end of the handle of the screwdriver.

My spark plug gapper has a hook much like a can opener to adjust the electrode.
Be careful not to break the tiny tip: very fragile (did this twice on my last spark plug change)
