anyone have their speakers embedded into the doors? i need my cargo space since i bring lots of inventory for my business. will i be able to get a nice deep sound still please do help! i hate my factory speakers i want MORE BASS!

Well, I just replaced the Rockford Package speakers with Polk MM6500 6.5". In the rear their an odd fit and you need minor fabrication, in the front you just need a 6X9 adaptor plate. Replacing the speakers is the first thing to do in my opinion, there is always a considerable improvement, and one that will not have to change with more upgrades. you could try one of those low profile subs and put it under your drivers seat. I don't think anyone has tried it yet but you could be the first. Put the amp under the passenger seat and you didn't lose any storage.

yeah that is a good spot probably the best but what about the ventilation opening

I know someone else on here was asking the same question. For the sub I bet you could reroute the vents using some sort of hose. I haven't really looked at it so I have no clue what it would take.

As far as the amp, I have my amp sitting on top of it on the passenger side.

JL Audio Stealthbox is the way to go. I have one and it kicks ass! I have kicker components everywhere else and 2 amps that I stowed in the cargo area in the back.

Yeah, but isn't the JL box like $500? For me that wasn't possible so I built my own box to fit in the same area and bought a sub, total cost $100.

I think he wants his entire cargo area though so neither of these options are a good fit.

Yes, that's true but for me it was worth the cost for a box that looks stock and is built precisely for the $250 subwoofer which comes with it. Of course if you don't want to sacrifice any space at all then your only viable option is under the front seats. You may as well get the stock RF system then.

I was a system installer when I was in high school and college so I already had everything to do the install and I had a spare amp for my sub. I did the install myself. But here are the key parts:

Pioneer AVIC-D3 nav unit - $700
Kicker front components - $120
Kicker 6.5" rear mid-bass - $80
Pioneer 4x50 watt amp for front speakers - $130
Carver 2x75 watt amp for the sub - $200 (spare amp)
JL Audio Stealthbox - $550
