Those things are off roading machines! I've seen them at RC eating up the trails....

Yes, some of you may have laughed at that statement but it's 100% true. UNYX had an event there and saw a bunch of them out on the trails...lifted..tires everything.

I used to be a vee-dub mechanic. I know what makes the old bosch f.i. work. it was ahead of its time. The trick with air cooled vw's is to find one that doesn't feel like it has 400k miles on it. had a bug for a little while too. we used to drive it on trails and cinders when I used to live in Flagstaff AZ. don't want a type one, but if the right bus came along...maybe.

they are neat (if you can turn your own wrench).
