I have a 2wd SE and was hoping to get some snowboarding in this weekend. Since I have a 2wd, I figure I should get some snow chains before going up. If I remember correctly, you are only supposed to use radial chains with the stock SE tires/wheels? Does anyone have a brand or type they know works well? Any input would be great!

I looked at this forun a while back. I could not figure out if they worked on the stock SE tires/rims, because the sidewall is smaller. Also, do I really need chains like these for snow covered roads?

No... I live in a part of the country that gets more snow than most. I own a 2wd Xterra and I have not been stuck yet. I do own snow chains but I have not had to use them on the road, only when going off road.

Check your local DOT...sometimes chains ARE required for NON-4x4 vehicles.
