Locked R180 vs half shafts. I think we all know who wins.






FYI the stub shaft comes apart making it easy to remove broken parts.


Yes, I was using too much skinny pedal. I was the only one to make it up the ledge without being winched though. Good times.:headbang:

Im still in awe how in how you broke those. At pretty much the strongest point. This truthfully shows how much stronger the ARB makes the R180! Also shows traction wasnt an issue! I know they are pricey but have you thought of upgrading to those RCV axles?

I think the RCV shafts will move the weak point to the stub shaft in the diff and possibly cause case failure. Replacing the half shafts will be much cheaper as long as everyone keeps doing Titan swaps.
I'll just keep a few spares on hand along with oil seals.

Well, now we know where the weak point has been moved! Thanks for the info. Too bad i sold my spare r180 thar i was gonna lock :-(

sucks that happened, but its causing me to lean towards a locker for the r180 over the m205 with pathy half shafts
