Simple OEM Offroad Lights MOD

I've seem plenty of posts about helping reduce the glare from the stock offroad lights on multiple forums. I'd like to post what I have done. I used reflective aluminum tape on the top and bottom of the lens reflect the light back and force it through the middle. I'm not sure of any side affects of heat transfer but it works really well.

Basic Idea:

Added Reflective Tape:

Nifty neato. Excellent idea.

Def adding this to the mod list, yep. (y)(y)(y)
Baja Designs did the same thing for their “ DOT Legal” lights. You have a good idea.

I dog it. Reminds me of the old style of military blackout headlights. For a more finished look you may want to consider painting the tape black.

Good idea and, per the beam pattern, a good result. Only question I would have is whether it might be possible to lower the off-road light beam a bit so it blends with the high beams a bit better, maybe down half the distance between the above high beam and off-road beams. (Guess what I'm asking is how one adjusts the off-road lights at all.) Will also be interested in whether any additional heat from the reflective tape decreases the life of the high-beam bulbs.

There is a screw on the lower outside that allows adjustment.
