with any steel aftermarket bumper expect it to drop the rear. An AAL would help better support the added weight, but there are some that have run this bumper with a stock suspension without issue. But if you're gonna load up the back with wheeling/camping/outdoor tools, gear, etc. consider an AAL
I have an S model with those crappy shocks from Nissan. With the full Shrock bumper including tire carrier, i was basically riding around on the stock bumpstops. If i was carrying 5 people as well, forget it. Not sure what model X you have but i would definitely do something to beef up your rear if your gonna get one AND carry passengers plus gear. Thats just my opinion though.
Bumper and tire carrier on the rear with stock suspension and you'll bottom over a dip in the street because you're laden with groceries. That's the sad truth. Basic shocks, stock Bils--it doesn't matter.
The X's rear needs to be improved on. Sooner or later, if you keep this vehicle and load it you'll spend money re-doing the rear. And a bumper and tire is a load!
