Shrockworks Front Bumper Color

I just spoke to Jim yesterday about this actually, but it's the grey on our trim that the bumper matches. The trim is more of a matte grey, while the X is more silvery. Personally, I'd think a black bumper would look great on a granite X.

Send me a pic, too. I started a poll a while back to find out whether the gray or the black would look the best w/ my Night Armor. I personally thought gray since I figured it would look about like the stock plastic stuff and that looks good to me against the Night Armor. The poll shows about 60:40 in favor of black.

If you want to see what the grey ones look like on a Blue X. 2NDX has the grey front shrockworks bumper, PM him and im sure he will get you some pics. That is if you just want to see what color grey it actually is.

I've got the grey sliders on my Granite X. It's nothing close to granite. When I ordered them, I thought they would be more of a charcoal grey like our racks. They are lighter than the trim also. I haven't gotten around to getting a photobucket accout so I can't post pics, but I can email you some. PM if interested.

I was concerned about how the grey looked with Granite, but I think it looks great. Now if mine would just get here... :bounce: :bounce:

ThanX from me, too, D-Day. I think I will go w/ black rather than grey. I think the grey looks good, but I was thinking that it would be the same grey as our bumpers are and figured keeping that same contrast would look the best. But I see now that it is a good bit lighter, so I think I'll go for contrast w/ black on grey (Night Armor). Appreciate the photos.

Same decision here, not that I don't like the grey but the off tone in comparison to the other grey on my car makes it too many greys for me.

X2! Plus, for what I do with it, It's better to have it black to easily touch it up. My father in Law is a painter and he always says Black is black. You get the idea.

However, to help with your delima, I say you just have Jim send you two sample bumpers and keep the one you like! Man I wish that was doable! MC

Or maybe, he can send you some paint samples of the colors available.

Reminds me of my frat-boy days and the ever infamous stripper parties...

Back on topic, I was pretty concerned about the color issue too. I really wanted to do something different so I ordered grey sliders and bumper. The bumper should be here in like 2 months, but the sliders should be here in about 12 hours from now. Excited!

I think I'm the first one on here to have grey Shrock on a black X. I hope it all looks good.
