Hi all,
First time poster, long time reader though. Apologies if this is in the wrong section!
My 05 X finally started its timing chain whine from the guides at ~135k miles. Can folks on here recommend a good shop or what the going rate is to replace the guides?

This is probably a day late and a dollar short.. but if you're still looking for a shop in the DC area call Stan Rollinson's Automotive in Woodbridge, VA. I lived in DC area for 10 years and always took all of my vehicles there. They are an honest and reliable shop... one of the lead techs there is very knowledgeable on Xterra's as well. Before I bought mine I had them look at it and he knew all about the X's major issues (SMOD, etc.).
