I can't believe it. I vacuumed out the Xterra for my wife this weekend and noticed the drivers seat has this spot on it that looks aweful. Lots of fuzzy stuff hanging off of it from wear. I can't imagine how much longer that can go on before it runs out of material to shed. Sad, sad, sad. The dealer better be ready to replace the stupid thing. :angry4:

Funny I cleaned my X and noticed that my seat on the left side where you get in and out is a bit worn.

Yup mine got like that on the driver's side, in the middle of the seat. I put a seat cover on to stop it. It was starting to look like an old sweater with fabric coming off everywhere...it really sucks for a car that's supposed to be 'rugged'. My 10 year old sentra's seats never did that!

I'll take a pic tonight after work and post it up.

armandov99 is right, it looks like an old sweater when it gets all fuzzy. Between the seat and they way the plastics scratch so easily, I'm a little disappointed in Nissan. This is our third Nissan, and by far the worst in quality as far as interior goes.

Same here. Just took a little bit longer then most. I have mine wearing on the right hand side of the driver's seat. I need to check out if they made this into a recall. I think that I have seen something in the form of a TSB but not a recall. If not then we all need to go in and let the dealership know since they report everything straight to Nissan. Enough of us go there then they will hopefully make it a recall.

i wore shorts with velcro on the back pocket and it started to do that literally the first time i sat in the car, i noticed it a few days later

ive since put a towel on the seat bottom and it obviously stopped the problem.

seat covers on the way.. soon..

The "OR" fabric is really "Rugged" - I have no complains on wear.

For BG, go on the Nissan site - You'll see that the "OR" fabric has rubberized mesh woven into the fabric. Also Liquid repellent...

My OR Seats aren't wearing but I need to stop eating in the X as little crumbs stick in those holes in the seats...
