Here is Xtoolbox's description of the June SCCX run. For those of you who thought the last few runs were not very technically challenging, and wanted more rocks, this one is for you. Camping should be good, too.

I won't be there, as I'll be on the last leg of my road trip that weekend. If you are going post on SCCX and let them know.

We moved this up one weekend since the IE Big Bear Fest with 250+ trucks is on our normal one. Always a great time up in the mts, challenging trails, camping, night run, something for everyone ;)

General Meet 6/9: Fawnskin Fire station at 10am

Group camping sat night: Juniper Springs (2n64Y) Entrance ~ MM 41 off SR38 close to the night run

6/9 Day Runs: Gold Mt (moderate to difficult on the advance loop which is optional) , Jacob Cyn (Moderate) and John Bull Trail; 3n10 (Moderate 1st half, difficult 2nd part which is optional)

6/9 Night run: Onyx & Heartbeat Ridge Summit Trail; 2N61 to 2N70 (Moderate)

6/10 Early morning fishing, Holcomb creek; 3n93 & Dish Pan Springs Trail; 2N26Y to 3N34 (Difficult)

Sliders, upgraded tires, and some lift recommended for both days but possible near stock minus the step rails for Saturday. The Sunday runs are for modified trucks only; lift, skids, larger tires, rear locker recommended.

Please post up if your interested, have some other ideas, trails, etc. Lets have a big cookout on saturday night.

Yep thats for sure, fun trail though. 3n93 is where Brian shredded his front end. Look it up seems like an interesting trail. This sounds like great trip hopefully we will be in on this. My in-laws just bought a H3 with the off-road package: 285/75/16 AT, 4:1 TC, locking rear, skids. Pretty nice truck. Anyways they may be up for this also.

I will check in with Ruth about this one, haven't headed out in a while and this last weekend finally got the damn X back up and running.

Also received all my skid plates and rear bumper, meaning the X is fully and completely Shrocked now.

Jim,

They know about it, in fact Mitch is blaming Sturndog, though I doubt he really had anything to do with it. There is a backup run thread on XOC in the So Cal regional club section, we try to put one there each month just in case something happens.

I'm actually in north central Utah right now, 2,000 miles into my road trip. I probably won't be back until Sat night, so I won't be at Big Bear.

Have a good time up there, it's a great place.
