How wide are the cross bars on a 2007? We have an X on order and will be carying our oldie but a goodie canoe that is 38 1/2 inches at its widest point. Trying to sort out if we need to set up a wider cross bar.

If memory serves me right they're only about 33-34" so you may have to start shopping.

You are correct Mike. Just went out and measured...33" inside to inside of the main rails.

Guess we will get the feet to use our old Thule bar and gunnel holders.

I haven't checked recently, but as of last fall Lordco carried Thule rack products, and they have stores in the Kootenays. They were cheaper than other places I checked. For example, in Vancouver, a Thule cargo basket was $500 at both RackStop and RackAttack, but $419 at Lordco.

Ordered the new "feet" we need to put our old Thule stuff from the Pathfinder onto the X. Lordco was $10.00 cheaper in Can $$ the Rack Attack in US$$.
