Installed the Hefty Fabworks rock sliders today. These things are build like a tank. Chris @ Hefty said they were Apocalypse Proof. He wasn't lying. Installation was a breeze. Completely bolt-on. Didn't have to drill anything. Literally installed them in my apartment parking space in about 45 minutes. Would have been quicker if I'd had my floor jack handy.

9/13/2014

Red Cone Trail 9/13/2014. FYI, there is a little sign on the trail just past where I took these pics (You can see it in the top pic). It says "Trail narrows - no full size vehicles - no turn around". It means what it says. I saw a Jeep come out so I decided to go in... bad move. Had to back up about 200yds on a cliff face with about 12"-18" of trail to spare before I plummeted a few hundred feet down. I had a mild panic attack LOL.

I decided to keep the truck so here is a list of the new parts I have compiled over the year to install. Hopefully I will have time to install all/most of this stuff next week.

1) Warn XD9000i winch
2) 100' 3/8" Warn Spydura synthetic winch line
3) Warn Hawse Fairlead
4) Viair 480c air compressor
5) Aluminum 3 gal air tank
6) Totron 40" curved LED lightbar (roof)
7) 2 x 6" HID offroad lights (bumper)
8 ) A bunch of OTRATTW switches

Stuff I want to get next:

1) Headers
2) Exhaust
3) Hefty Fabworks aluminum skids Bought 2/15/15
4) Hefty Fabworks custom rear bumper
5) Air horns (I never grew up :D )
6) Several more lights
7) Air Intake (Volant or K&N) Bought and installed

Installed Volant Intake today. Not sure why people claim to have problems installing it... took me all of 30 minutes and was a cinch.

Also installed overhead switch panel

Looks good...I normally don't like black wheels, but those work on the white. Also, always liked the white on the frontiers, as it's a clean look. My '11 PRO-4X CC was silver, which was OK but sort of plain and really common...Wanted blue, but hard to find then for some reason (dealer told me because the tsunami wrecked the paint supplier, although I never take their word for gospel). Good you got the luxury package, as it makes having an auto not so bad (for me), although weird how Nissan is on the options and how you can't get anything on those in manual with PRO-4X other than accessories.

I have a lot of work to do before GoneMoab this year...

In the pic:
- ARB M226/Dana 44 diff cover
- 40" Totron light LED bar
- 3 Gallon aluminum air tank
- Viair 480C compressor
- Warn Spydura synthetic winch line
- Warn wireless winch controller
- 7" HID off road lights (x2)
- UHMW-PE and bolts for 2" DIY body lift
- Composite ammo cans (x2)
- SS Brake Lines
- Bussman fuse/relay box
- OEM type Deutsche connectors

Not in the pic but getting installed:
- InSain LED light bar brackets
- Hefty Fabworks aluminum skids (full set)
- MAYBE... depending on funds and Hefty's work load... a rear bumper.

Also, I spent $150 in parts and a few hours making this... only to realize afterwards that I never test fit the housing to my truck prior. It doesn't fit. The housing is for '05 - '10. My truck is a 2012. FML

Where are you mounting the fuse block?
In the spot between the battery and oem fuse panel, between the coolant overflow and power steering reservoirs.

Nice looking Frontier! Love the wheels and was contemplating them for my X recently.

Also like the bullydog location, very clever.

Subbed for updates! Take some vidz at Moab, wanna see this thing in action.

So, these wheels are available in limited sizes and offsets and unfortunately, none of those sizes or offsets fit the truck well. Mine is 18x9 (or 9.5) with a -12mm offset. With the 33" tires, they rub the inner fender well badly. I'm actually doing a 2" body lift just to stop the infernal rubbing lol
