WOW! Badass X !
Way to go! That thing flexes hard!
Yea. This isn't my first lifted 4wd.

The sway bars were the first thing to go.

I know not to drive it like a car. My first real run out with SCCX there was another 2nd gen x OR, same configuration, 'cept he still had his sway bars. Snapped one joint climbing into Coyote Canyon.

Nice shots. Like the ones at Garcia Ridge, that's a fun trail. Especially if you make the trip to little falls after!

Articulation check......

I got my rear suspension work finished. I need to fine tune the parking brake cable routing, e-locker wire routing, and install a remote breather.

And then these showed up.........

And then this showed up! (I haven't installed it yet though)

Such a sick rig. What size tires are you running with that lift? Can't wait to see what else your gonna do with this rig.
285/75-16's

I am going to stick with 33's until I regear. I did clearance checks for 305/70-16's and I will be good for those next.

I am hesitant to go 35's with stock gears.

It's either SAS or grenade the R180 and slap in a R200.

Either way, this thing has been down for far too long and I want to start getting out and using it again.

Slap in an r200?

Are you thinking the m205 Titan diff or something else? I don't know what an r200 is, that's why I ask.

Meh, four years, it's time for a wee update.

In the meantime, I've

  • Replaced the engine driven and electric aux fans with a dual 2k/2k CFM Derale fan kit. I fabricated a custom fairing onto the bottom of the Derale box in order to draw air from the entire radiator core. The fan relays trigger off the factory aux fan two speed power wires.
  • Installed a Calmini (never again, I knew better, but the drive saved freight cost) winch guard front bumper
  • Installed a Warn M8 winch
  • Installed an ARB compressor
  • Built a rear swing away bumper with integrated air tank. I'm on swing away arm prototype number two, with three in drawing.
  • I have some Baja Designs lights sitting in the box, ready to go on, to be switched with OTRATTW switches.
  • P&P Sliders
  • Tom Woods double cardan 1310 driveshaft
And I just got all my 4.10 regear parts from Rugged Rocks
