Thanks guys!

Phase one complete (ish)
We hit a couple snags in bolt issues, so the King shocks are being temp put aside for a little. They will go back on next time he's down my way.

Phase 2: regear axles and potential locker setup. We'll see.

For me, GXT donated a Volant to install and check out gas mileage of a stock Xterra after a year of mileage logging. Let's see what it does for us.

Hahah, try sir I will not.

I've done gears a couple times before my Xterra modding days. A real Dana makes the Xterra's differential look like cake. With the M226 it actually is very easy to adjust Backlash with the side bearing adjusters rather than shims.

Curt, post up a pic of Mayo's M226 carrier for everyone to behold.

Haha, I was going to wait until the rebuild was documented, but I guess I can share a little eye candy.

This is what happens when a service tech doesn't do their job right after changing out your pinion seal...

The pinion nut backs off and the pinion chews into the carrier of your hunk-o-junk locker.

Sadly we don't have any 'proof' that a tech in the past did this, as it's also been way too long. But, That Is Life...

If anyone has a spare Elocker lying around you know we'll take one!

Took a much needed break from this TS BS (Ha! I like that) and took most of the day to reorganize the garage. After the past couple days it's been needing it.

Found things we were missing and things I didn't even know I had. (Love it when that happens. As for the next steps on the epic Titan swap-a-roo, it's a waiting game. Looking still for an Elocker and gears. Couple leads are hopefully panning out (you know who you are :sly: ) but we have some backup plans just in case.

Still need new OEM LCA's to replace the seized ones but then I can button that back up on Mayos truck.

C3PO is still running on Terry-Towel's Radflows (Mayo's old ones) until we can get a few pieces together. He might come down on sun to swap them out.

C'est la vie
