Hey guys / gals. Wanted to see if anyone knows about any decent trails / power lines / fire roads etc...where it’s legal to take a vehicle in or around Rhode Island. I’m getting cabin fever here at the home stretch of winter and want to do some exploring.

Unless you head to VT or NH there are no public places to wheel. There are a few Offroad parks in NY and PA, but with a 6 hour drive one way it turns into a long weekend trip.

Check out NEXterra.org. We’re pretty active in CT, MA, and RI. Just about one run a month. We have relationships with 30ish Offroad clubs in the northeast. We all trade access to private property. It’s the only legal what to wheel in RI, MA or CT.
